Paid Per Click Systems

25 Apr

I guess the magic shorten “PPC” is not new for you. ¨But, just in case – PPC stands for Paid Per Click and it describes large industry of web site owners. advertisers and users (clients). It is one of the basic ways of making money online. But, as usual, there are several catches and strategies unknown to Online Marketing Rookies.

How It Works?

The system itself is not so hard to understand. Smart guy creates a website and gets there decent traffic. Then he offers this traffic to advertisers. who pay him for using his website. Our smart guy keeps a portion of this payment and he distributes the rest to users, who are paid for clicking on particular advertisement.

It’s a win-win situation, obviously the owner of PPC system “wins the most”. It’s no surprise that you’re lucky to earn $0,01 for viewing one ad, so if you click by yourself, it’s not really interesting. It becomes much more interesting when we introduce the term referral.

And That Would Be…?

Simply put, referral is another user who registered to that particular website and gave you the credit of letting him know that it exists. How? Via your referral link, of course. Every time you register to almost any Making Money Online (MMO) site, they give you your referral link, so you can register more people and get advantages from it.

When we are talking about PPC, referrals and only referrals are the major element that divides successful users and losers. I’m sure you either know or have figured out that you get money also for the ads your referrals view. The more referrals you register the more attractive any PPC system becomes.

How To Get Referrals?

Oh, if only there were a simple answer to this question. Owners of PPC sites use (with pleasure) the phrase: “You can refer a few friends and your earnings grow exponentially”, blah blah blah. That’s a crap, you’ll never get enough friends to make any decent profit.

There are quite a few possibilities how to advertise your referral link, actually, that’s what my next article will talk about. For now, I’ll name:

  • safelists
  • traffic exchanges
  • mailing lists
  • spam (can’t recommend that, but it’s a possibility)
  • your own website with traffic.

So, follow us on Twitter and make sure you won’t miss the referral guide.

A lot of people are afraid of EVERYTHING in life. Online money making is not a myth, there are literally millions of people making money online. I am one of them I used to be a Delivery manager in a software company and I left it and make a money online, it is definitely more exciting than just developing sites for others.
The reason people are afraid is because it is virtual, you really cant SEE most aspects of it so it feels like mumbo jumbo, but keep in mind that there are only the points listed below that are needed for success:

    1. Find a product that people are willing to buy.

    2. Buy, or work for traffic that costs you less money than conversion factor. On a an average you will make 1-2 sales per 100 people to your site. It is dependent on your product and price too. But this rule should generally hold. So if you spend $25 for this traffic and you get $29 per sale you are in green.

    3. Make the sales process as easy as possible, do not ask too many questions before sale.

    4. During the 3 steps above, ask and get a visitors email .

    5. Start a newsletter and send the emails interesting information, you can try selling them something every 5th mail or so. That’s all there is to selling and making money online.
